Nick Wagoner of ESPN reports that the Rams are re-signing TE Cory Harkey to a new deal.
The Rams are in the market for a tight end after they cut Jared Cook last month. Los Angeles actually brought in Zach Miller for a visit, but he ultimately elected to re-sign with the Bears on Monday.
Harkey, 25, wound up signing on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2012. He returned to the teams on a one-year restricted offer last year and is now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time.
In 2015, Harkey appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded five receptions for 26 yards receiving.
